why trainer status says retired?

has the trainer been retired because of the eac that was implemented today?

EAC changes a game to always be online. Could always rent your own server turn it off and use the console commands I suppose.

You are partially correct, to play online EAC is REQUIRED. However, if you launch the game from the SCUM.EXE located in the steam directory Via "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SCUM\SCUM\Binaries\Win64" It will launch the game without activating EAC. Doing so of course will force your game to be offline thus allowing the trainer to work properly as it did before. I have dealt with EAC several times now with different games and there are always different workarounds it seems. Easy anti cheat basically prevents trainers from hooking to the SCUM.EXE Thats all it does. Please revert the retired state. The trainer probably doesn't even need to be updated.

even if i wanted to do a server of my own i would like the know what commands i can use before hand and i cant find anything on the commands that work. any ideas?

This is very true, currently using the game launched from the location provided, I get a prompt about anti-cheat not working, so I can only play offline, in regards to the trainer, it should be working fine, my pointers are all still functioning. (I don't have everything the trainer does, the reason I would like it to still be supported)

This is actually perfect, means people can't use it online, and it still works offline.

I have to agree with the post above and that the retired status should be changed.

but that's just my 2 cents, I do see the temptation to retire this one in regards to the endless.wave.beta.updates.exe.

As others have investigated, it is possible to run the game offline without the the anti cheat running, so why is the trainer still in retired mode?
