Theres only one true way to kill a hunter in Halo: CE. I mean what else is there but this. First you get one hunter to kill it's partner by either using their fuel rod gun too much or by going into a mad melee whilst u jump over their head. Then you have to get somesort of enemy (best to be an elite) to shoot at you. Then you run around so the hunter is in the way of their fire. And then the 2nd hunter dies. No ammo used.

It's true I have done this (I've done it twice!!) But in fact making the second hunter die is so difficult i just shoot it in the back with my trusty M6D Sidearm (The pistol).

Wot's even more fun is to get ur ally (in co-op) to run out to the front and go into a melee match with a hunter (!) and then you just shoot it once in the back.

Why do I think that I would end up listening either to the Halo 2 CD on general release OR some of the contemporary music and half finished projects found on Bungie / Halo websites?

I want much more substantial proof than that. Post a link to a photo of either the box or a screenshot of the game and I'll believe you.
