This is a weird one, I admit, as it's never happened to me before now. I recently downloaded the trainer for "60 Seconds" but whenever I try and run it (even as administrator) it appears to load but then it opens Comic Rack, which is a program made for easier comic reading in like a PDF form or whatever. I find it weird that it's opening this program and the trainer doesn't load, and yet it doesn't do it with any of my other trainers I've downloaded. So I'm not sure what is going on since every other trainer I've used still works fine, just this particular one keeps opening Comic Rack. I even tried uninstalling Comic Rack in hopes that might help, however for some reason Comic Rack is still there and won't uninstall. So any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

What Windows edition & version and what security software do you use? Please be as specific about this as possible.

Oh, my apologies, I should have put that in my original post. Windows 10 Home Edition, and just the simple Windows Defender (mainly cause I can't find a decent free anti-virus and can't afford to buy one). Though clearly it's not the security software or it would affect all the trainers and not just this particular one so I really don't see why that would really matter.

Though now that I said that, every trainer I try to download now does the exact same thing...I just jinxed myself...

Have you tried to reset Windows 10 to its default apps?

Press Win key + i -> Apps -> Select 'Default Apps' in the left column -> Scroll a bit down in the right column and press on the grey 'Reset' button/Reset to the Microsoft recommended defaults.

    And clear these locations

    C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp\
    C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work\

reboot your PC and try again.

Okay well, I tried the first thing you mentioned with the reset, then tried to open the trainer and got Comic Rack all over again. As for the folders, I don't have any "AppData" folder listed in my username directory, could that be somewhere else? I did manage to find the other folder and cleared that one though. Going to restart now and hope that works...

The AppData folder is hidden by default. Please watch video #2 here -> Link on how to make it appear in Explorer.

Well, I was able to delete all but two folders in that temp file under the AppData folder, those two being NIVIDIA Corporation and Acrobat Distiller DC. Both claim that some file from those folders are being used and won't let me delete them, so I hope neither of those has any negative effect on this whole process.

I noticed that every trainer I download from August 3, 2018, and earlier all work, and they are all titled similarly in the sense that each executable is the abbreviation of the game followed by my username. However, the ones I tried downloading today (the first time since the 3rd mind you) have some seemingly random series of numbers before the rest of it. I kind of doubt that has anything to do with why they keep bringing up this ComicRack program, considering I tried renaming them and the same thing kept happening.

Even after everything and restarting my computer it still just opens ComicRack, which is now apparently some ghost program. Where before it showed up in the add or remove program where I tried to uninstall it but it still showed there and still ran every time I tried the trainer before restarting, now it just doesn't show at all but it still loads when I try to run the trainer. I even went ahead to look for ComicRack on my computer and it doesn't show, so it appears to have become some ghost program that I don't know how to get rid of.

No, the Nvidia and Adobe Acrobat folders don't have anything to do about it and cannot be deleted because the content is in use and they're protected.

Please read here -> Link and try what is suggested in the very first post on page 5.
