I tried it just now on a 1 attempt remaining investigation and it became 99. However the next one reduced the number of attempts to 0 and i lost the investigation.
Are you leaving it on?

This was when i left it on and it appears the situation is the same if i turned it off. I followed Sgxholy's suggestion to set the modifying value to 9 and the investigation didn't disappear. The number of attempts deducted by 1 for each abandon/completion so this way it's working as intended even if it is off. I guess there is something wrong with setting it at 99.
Read somewhere that this game has anti-cheat even when you're in offline mode.
Not sure if the process is running or visible or what. Can you confirm/deny this?
I get CH only supports offline but it'd be a bummer if doing it offline still resulted in an account ban.
they said they were able to work around all of the anti-cheats in another post, hopefully, that means this thing will work undetected.
we have no idea if you are undetected. the anticheats were more about changing the code and scanning for executable code changes. if you choose to play this online or with others or not as solo, then we have no idea what will happen.

So I probably have a super dumb question but I've only started to PC game and use cheats recently. My question is are you able to use this in offline mode and then when you play online just not use the trainer? I had the misfortune of having to start dark souls over because of anticheat. Thanks to anyone that can help me out!
