Dear CH,

Select few trainers launch outside the desktop limits. Issue applies to very few of them, even new ones.
As you can see in the attached screenshot, the layout of one is wrong. I also had to force the window of "The Banner Saga 3" trainer to maximize to be seen at all.

OS: Win 10 x64 Build 17134.165
Single screen setup @ 1920x1080
Cleared the CH working dir. It is added to my Anti-Virus exception list.



Using Winlister tool from NirSoft:
CLASS: WindowClass38915136
POS: 32767 0
SIZE: 1020 730

Thank you for the prompt reply. None of the tricks make a change. I see a visual difference between the trainers with and without issues. Could it be an issue with the wrapper used?

What wrapper are you talking about? Btw: Nothing uploaded - only *.jpg can be uploaded as an image file.

I am referring to various methods trainers are compiled. And sorry about the image format, I have used JPEG now.

The differences you marked on the screenshot are easy to explain:

Banner Saga 3 -> written by Caliber

Planet Coaster -> written by 0x90


But it doesn't explain what you described about launching outside Desktop limits. Both trainer launch fine on my end. No idea about that.

Are both types of trainers using the same working directories? I have cleaned what I could find but there might be more.

Yes, both trainers use the Work folder -> C:\Users\YourWindowsUserName\Cheathappens\

And sometimes several *.tmp files are also created in the Windows Temp folder -> C:\Users\YourWindowsUserName\AppData\Local\Temp\
