Can you get banned for using the trainer online?

Read the game's EULA, it should tell you.

Clicking on the STEAM link for NMS shows the trainer title on the site as 'No Man´s Sky NEXT Trainer 1.57 (GOG)' when in brackets it should state Steam - URL www.cheathappens.com/21242-PC-No_Mans_Sky_cheats

Are you sure your clicking on trainer #2? When I click it I see:

I certainly wouldn't do anything that affects other players but it's pretty easy to forget that you have mp on. I now have online turned off in the options but was concerned about previous to that. The multiplayer is weird in that there's not a whole lot you could do to cheat in terms of affecting other people, and it doesn't seem to have been important enough for them to include an anticheat of vac or some sort.

Concerning online cheating and this game, it's a non issue, the worst you could do is kill someone without ever getting killed yourself. not to mention before they reduced the value of the stasis pod things, I was giving them away like Oprah gave away cars... So using trainers online in this game are pretty harmless, for the most part.. just don't be a space jerk to anyone and you'll be fine.
