There has been problem I couldn't solve with the trainers launching off-screen when using a dual (or more) monitor configuration. I know the trainer is working cause I hear all the "activated" messages and so on, but it stays off-screen.
Any clues where the trainer writes the window position or how to force it to run withing the primary monitor?
I am on Windows 10 1709 x64, dual mon (mixed resolution). The only thing that works is to rename the trainer but c'mon!
I would love to have a permanent solution and not a workaround!

Do both monitors have the same resolution or are they different?

Maybe you find something here -> Link

Like I've said in the first post - it is mixed resolution...

And the link provided is all rubbish... I mean.. reinstall Windows? Lol... Login as different user ? Lol... of course it can work (once) IF the trainer writes the position somewhere within user data.

What I want to know is how to force the trainer to use position X Y and not some weird dunnofromwho values (or how to reset it).

Disable monitor 2, launch trainer -> Does it show?

No? -> Keep monitor 2 disabled, lower the resolution of monitor 1, launch the trainer, reset resolution of monitor 1 -> Does the trainer show?

    1) No, doesn't show. Only the icon in the taskbar, when I hover over it it shows the thumbnail of the trainer window, but window is nowhere to be seen.

    2) Nope. Same. I have gone as low as 1600x900 on both of the displays and still no go.

Looks like after the first launch (the first launch with name e.g. abc123 is always fine) the trainer window saves a weird window position. Second (and further) launch - nowhere to be seen. Completely off-screen.

But rename to efg456 and again - one time first launch fine, further launches - completely off-screen.

P.S. I also tried combinations of - disabling first/second monitor/ changing resolutions on first, second, both, reverting back on first, second/both etc. Same result.
Not posting it within one updated post because any edit I do on it triggers some weird warning.

Are you using some kind of management software for your multi-monitor setup? DisplayFusion, etc

I have run CH trainers on 3 monitors, 2 monitors, multi resolutions, same resolution, etc and the only issues I have had is when dragging or attempting to close on anything but the primary monitor.

I use DisplayFusion and have used other software in the past, they allow you to pin windows on start and it could be a conflict with the software. If your just using Win 10 I'm at a loss to explain why it's happening to you and never been an issue for me.

I have no idea.. the trainer is simply creating a window using normal windows api call to center it in the current desktop window space..
