Selected Army:
Click on your army first so its HP / Soldiers panel shows up. Press hotkey or use editor.
Close and open the panel again to see values have changed.

Selected Officer:
In your officer list MOUSE HOVER the officer you want to edit. Wait a second or two and press hotkey
or use editor. Then click on the officer in the list to see values have changed.

Mute Hotkeys:
-------------------------------------------------------
To temporarily disable the Hotkeys, press CTRL-H after trainer is
activated. You can use CTRL-H to re-activate the Hotkeys as well.
You can also mute specific hotkeys by changing the hotkey you want to mute to 'NONE'.


VR Mode
-------------------------------------------------------
- HTC Vive
Click on the 'VR Mode' button. Trainer options will now be drawn as buttons. Activate the trainer as usual with your keyboard. Put your HTC Vive on and when you are ingame press the 'Menu' button on the hand controllers to open the steam overlay. At the bottom you can click on the 'Desktop' button and you can easily press options on the trainer with your hand controller now.

- Oculus Rift
The oculus rift does not have a desktop mode as of now. You have to use the keyboard or controller hotkeys instead.

Is there a surefire way to "refresh" the misc editor section? I am only able to edit gold, provisions, muskets, and horses in the odd occasion. Some game sessions I am not able to edit it at all and just remain as ?? the whole time and other times it just seemingly at random will "refresh" in the middle of a session. I have tried enabling the trainer at main menu then loading savegame and vice versa as well. I also tried starting trainer before the game launch and after the game launch. Neither method is more successful than the others. As far as the options I use, all other options work fine. Just wondering if anyone has had more luck than I.

Do you open and close the editor too when you switch to the next army or officer and when you have the related panel open or hover over the officer you want to edit?

I don't have any issue with officer or army editing. My problem is only with the items under the "Misc" heading i.e. gold, provisions, muskets, horses. Minimizing and expanding the Editor section does not seem to affect the values within.

Having the same issue as the previous poster. Options 1, 2, 3, 4 do not always work, especially when reloading saved games. You can start a new game, trainer works fine. Save the game, close the game/trainer, restart both correctly, load the saved game, trainer no longer works. Different memory address once games are saved? It doesn't always work/not work either but it does seem that once the trainer no longer works on a save, it will never start working no matter how many restarts. That's what's leading me to think something is changing in the memory address or something once you are saving the game.

Specifically had no problem reloading saved games on Scenario 1 and 2, had problems on 3 and 5.

try clearing these folders

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90

Did all of that, still not working, although my computer is running a lot faster now. Thank you haha.

Did some more testing. It is definitely something to do with loading saved games. I just did the following steps:

-Start trainer as administrator.
-Start game.
-Activate trainer.
-Load saved game. Trainer does not work with options 1, 2, 3, or 4. (Did not try others.) You hear "activated" but nothing changes with any values.
-Exit to main menu in game. Start a new scenario with same lord, etc.
-Trainer works perfectly fine, values change.
