Workaround-ish for FC5's Lack of NG+

    Hi.

    Spoilers ahead.

    I'm sure everyone's aware of FC5's lack of replayability. The game doesn't have a NG+ mode, and after storyline is completed the entire map becomes a ghost town where you can legit drive for 15min straight (or more) without coming across a SINGLE enemy which sucks.

    So, i found a workaround for it, sort of. As of now it can only be done with Jacob and John's region.

    First, What needs to be done for a region to become a ghost town? It needs to be considered LIBERATED which happens after you get out of the heralds' bunker that's when all the fun is taken away. Not random events happen anymore, no more hostages, not pursuits, roadblocks, you name it. IF you're very lucky you may come across a random enemy in the middle of the woods.

    So, right after said heralds are killed you're given the task to go their bunker and once done, the region will be considered liberated, however, with john and jacob, the game doesn't force you to go to their bunker. You can simply ignore it and roam around the entire region and while the mission remains there unfinished, the amount of enemies and random events will remain untouched!

    Down side? Since the storyline is not finished, if you do liberate any OUTPOSTS it's over, you won't be able to reset them. But if you're like me and enjoy the free roam with enemies and random events this helps!

    Now, the REAL purpose of this thread... I have been testing escaping/skipping the heralds' battle. That annoying thing that drags you into something you cannot escape unless you finish it.

    At first i've tested with Jacob, it was prior to finding out about this workaround-ish
    By using the trainer's teleport options i was able to drag my character somewhere else across the map (still in same region) once i started hearing "Only You" and the screen started to go all weird. That would cancel the dragging. But only temporarily. If i were to fast travel, die, my health get too low that makes the screen edges turn red, i would get dragged into the fight with Jacob.

    Recently my resistence meter in Faith's region was getting near the end i started to think of possible solutions to make her region like the others. But nothing worked so far. By using the trainer's teleport function again i was able to escape the first dragging of Faith and am now safe in John's Region. However, the SECOND i step into Faith's Region and get a pop up on screen "Region Changed HENBANE RIVER" i start to get bliss in the screen and teleporting anywhere inside her own region makes no difference. It only delays. Like if i teleport into a lake it'll stay there and won't drag my character to the fight but only as long as i stay in the water. If i get out, it triggers it.

    Once Faith's killed, you're automatically spawned inside her bliss bunker with no escape so there's nothing to ignore and forget.

    I thought that maybe CH could find a way to block this assuming it's even possible? Idk maybe some option in the trainer that while it's on, it would prevent those forced fights somehow? Or is it wishful thinking?

    I will provide a save file and would greatly appreciate @Caliber or anyone else that works on the trainers to see if something can be done regarding this.

    The character is in John's region at the closest fast travel point near Faith's Region. Something about 200m away or so. All one would have to do is cross a bridge and should make Faith's fight trigger in a few seconds.

    Better late than never, huh? Tho i feel that the game is rather dead at this point but, at least we can have fun restarting the game with all gear!
