I'm also dealing with the crafting -1 issue after using it, hopefully this can be fixed soon cause it sucks not getting any drops for any of -1 items! D:

guys... for the crafting to work, you it needs to write -1 WHILE USING CRAFTING. TURN IT OFF when not crafting

It's tied to game progression. It would likely break the game and you might not realize it until you got to the end and then you would be ****ed (at us).
The Developer put a legit XP cheat in
HOW TO FOR PC
Plug in a Xbox/Playstation controller.
Sit Reid down on a bed to level him up.
When you see the abilities *Example improve blood bar* head into any one of them and then with your keyboard hold O & P at the same time. Your XP will sky rocket.
You don't need to hold both down. I only need to hold the "P" key.
For those of you that are having issues with the XP cheats first change "Actual XP gathered" to 999999 and then set the other XP cheat to 900000. Press the key for Actual XP gathered FIRST and then press the key for the other XP cheat and it will lock your level at 50 and won't reset it. It worked for me.

It is indeed tied to main quest progression, But considering you don't actually need to use it at Any point in the game, I figured I would still ask.
