This is bizarre. For a while the trainer was working just fine. Now suddenly for the last two versions it's been crashing on me. It fully loads, then instantly crashes.
Referencing 3 files in the appdata/local/temp folder as the cause:
WER8371.tmp.WERInternalMetadata.xml
WER8194.tmp.appcompat.txt
WERB1A4.tmp.mdmp
It is not an antivirus problem, as I had gotten fed up with bitlocker and uninstalled it completely. It crashes without any protection service installed.
And yet other trainers, like No Man's Sky NEXT or They Are Billions work perfectly fine.
Any guesses?
Bitlocker is Microsoft's encryption software. Do you refer to Bitdefender by any chance?
And if you now have no 3rd party AV installed, you likely use Windows Defender, Controlled folder access, Ransomware protection, Windows Firewall, SmartScreen, Exploit protection and Core Isolation. All bundled up in the Windows Defender Security Center.
And even if you disabled Defender, there are still processes running in the background. So please create the suggested scan exclusions in Defender now as described in the trainer's instructions, clear these locations
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp\
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work\
reboot your PC and try again.
Is the trainer compatible with the GOG release?
If you have the GOG version, you could always try it out and let us know. We do have the REQUEST system for adding another platform.
Please use the trainer option request system for requesting new options be added to this trainer and/or vote on options already requested.
Hello, Trainer for 1.022 works on 1.024, However i found out that using free crafting works, but when i disable it, effect doesn't go away.
Because it modifies the recipes. A restart of the game will reset the effect.
