The game is indeed walk here grab that and deliver all the time. However what many people already pointing out is that you need to park the truck unload every thing 1 by 1 its a little pointless to say and boring at most. However the rest of the game when you know the robes and its fast to learn its a easy game. I play with 1 dude all the time yes you need to cheat to do that. But i just dont like playing with others not sure why i have that. Its i think the progress in my character. The remove the pointless repeats missions clear zeds remove that threat popping up all the time. Now its more we can handle it or a small indicator remove threat to get people happy in your base. Also some strategic outpost is now recommend not just some random buildings or random your base to keep the zeds away.
just do not do all jobs the ask you to do as a hint i know people want that but clearly thats not needing at all. I already end the first storyline yes im awake for more then 48 hours now im going to bed i tired and feel like a zombie..

I try to do each character's "quest", that are in my group. But usually I stick with one or two characters to play with. They have the best guns, backpacks, etc.
Still not understanding the repair vehicle part, unless I need a garage. I use kits on vehicles, but nothing seems to be fixed.

Repair kits fixes the actual vehicle "Health" so when you hit a lot of things like zombies and such the vehicle "health" will lower and eventually your car will smoke and eventually explode if you do not fix it. you do not need a garage you can just use it at the front of the car when looking at the hood. and when you do not remove a zombie that is holding on to any of your doors, you can actually lose that door and the repair kit replaces it.

That's what I mean.
I have a vehicle missing 2 doors and I used about 10 repair kits, but nothing has been "fixed". Still missing doors. Still have dents and a bit of smoke from engine. Not sure if I'm missing something.
I also tried repairing a military vehicle, but again, no change when I use repair kits.

I also used a character with high mechanics and one with no mechanics. No difference.
