I've encountered the same problems and yesterday was the first time I played POE2 so there's no history of older game and older trainer versions.

What I've discovered however is that if you disable the Infinite Health cheat, and do the level up, you'll be just fine. Even with the trainer enabled, if you just disable the infinite health before going to the level up screen, it won't crash.

But the Infinite Health in and of itself doesn't seem to work. I've been able to straight up kill party members even with that cheat activated. They sustain injuries and can be knocked out of the battle even with the full health provided by the game.

I also encountered a couple of enemies that didn't seem to want to die. They'd reach 0 health and were still standing and fighting. I can't be sure if it's actually CH trainer related, but I was able to fix it by turning on One Hit Kills, so whether it was a native game bug or trainer related, I was able to fix it thanks to the trainer. So, thanks CH.

I noticed this too, so it's ok i quess. I've also noticed the trainer increases the games loading times, but that's probably just due to my not up to date pc.

Unfortunately, performing these steps did not resolve the issue. I noticed that while activated, a Naga hit me with a ranged attack for the exact amount of health I had. While I was only knocked down and not killed, it still rendered the character unplayable until combat was over. The rest of the party seemed unaffected.

Just a quick heads up - patch 1.2 has been released to the beta branch.
I managed to pause it before it downloaded/installed though.... 😉

Similar issue here.

Running the 1.2 Steam version of the game, and the newly updated trainer.
Once the trainer is activated (F1) I cannot do anything with any item in my inventory - can't move it, can't sell it, nothing.
If I have the trainer running, but not activated, the inventory works as normal.

I held off patching the game until the trainer was updated..... 🙁

Clean out any residual trainer data from previous versions.

Delete all files in

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90

Reboot PC to clear excess memory.

Hey guys, like entigy I'm using the current game and trainer version (Steam/1.2) and I have the same issues - even after deleting all the files mentioned by CyPHeR. After using one of the trainer options the inventory isn't accessible anymore. Perhaps you can look into this - and say when I can help you out with some (game) data. Thanks!
