Yeah, looks like the dev snuck in a hotfix around mid-day that threw the trainer off. Game is apparently at version 1.02 now. Crashes the game on trainer activation.

Thanks again for having a trainer for this game!

Pwizard said there was a second trainer uploaded today, did you get that 1? Not sure if it included the hotfix from the game or if 1.0 being displayed is just an error.

The most recent trainer works on the most recent game version now anyway.

Trainer should maybe be marked 1.02 instead of 1.0 I guess. Other than that everything's good!

Just tried it again with a fresh download, still no joy. Game crashes right after the ole' "Trainer Activated."

Have tried all the usual troubleshooting steps. Have also tried running the D3D9 version of the game, still nothing.

If it works for the poster above it should work for you, try a fresh clean trainer.

Delete trainer and all files in

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90
C:\ProgramData\CheatHappens

Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and extract it. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again. At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game and test the option. If it now works, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again. May also need to run the game without the trainer first and play a bit so the save file gets updated to use possible new values.

Have just now step-by-stepped all of what you listed (I had done most of them before, but it never hurts to be thorough).

Same end result - game crashes right after trainer activation (which also crashes the trainer), but before the trainer is active and ready to go (I'm not even getting to the point where I can use any of the options, in other words). This happens regardless of the game state; Main Menu, Existing Save, New Game, reloaded-after-some-time new game - nothing doing, same result each time.

It's not the first time I've had difficulty with a trainer, but usually other people would be having troubles too, so I'd be interested to know exactly what algeo above is doing when getting it to work.

Where can I find Log Files for these trainer activation attempts? I can't seem to use the trainer's Debug section since the trainer itself crashes when the game does.

I really do appreciate all the help and troubleshooting you folks have been doing!
