I have a VPN available, but it's been off. I turned it on and I'm getting the same issue: Cheathappens website offline.

This is the first time I've had this problem, btw.

I fixed the problem with the offline key thingie.

For future reference, the fact that Windows was saying that the offline generator wouldn't work on this version of Windows was evidently caused by Norton half-deleting that program before I stopped it.

I downloaded it again an immediately "trusted" it.

Still haven't figured out the original thing that made me post, however.

Thanks. I'm in Windows 10. Disabling the smartscreen notifications had no effect.

Also, Windows defender doesn't seem to have a history of anything. When I go to "firewall and network protection", it just says "status unavailable, refer to Norton."

try to exclude a custom folder with the trainers in it,with windows 10 defender,so first make a custom folder, start windows defender security centre,go to virus and threat protection, then to virus and threat protection settings, scroll down till you see exlusions, add or remove an exclusion, click + add a exclusion, use folder option,go to the custom folder with the trainers and select that folder, after this windows defender stays away from your custom folder.

P.S exclude the empty custom folder first, then after that copy paste the trainer to that folder, unzip it,and defender should stay away from deleting the trainer exe.

if its nortons doing i cant help i dont have that program

    hope it helps 🙂
