Far Cry 5 Message Board  

Ok, I just got this trainer and I cannot use it. Every time I run it, about 5 seconds after the menu opens, it closes. At first I was prompted that a Windows component was missing, 'flash.ocx'. So I downloaded/installed Adobe Flash Debug ActiveX which was supposed to contain that file. Restarted my computer, tried to run the trainer again, still closes after a few seconds, doesn't even give me the Windows component prompt. Anyone else have this problem?

Hi guys. I recently purchased a new laptop and am trying to get the Trainer to load Far Cry 5. I ran game first without trainer to make sure it launched ok. Now, I set both Steam and UPlay to offline mode, then disabled internet and set airplane mode after launching trainer. When I pressed F2 to find game root directory, UPlay said it was unable to launch game and to put UPlay back online. Is there a workaround for this? Do I need both Steam and UPlay in offline mode, or just Steam(I have Steam game version)? Is it safe to have UPlay online, and have Steam offline? Help is greatly appreciated

I've played thru twice now and I don't go offline at all, it's always on. I'm on Win-7 and have the Steam version. Be sure you have the exclusions set just like they're detailed at the end of the Readme.txt that comes with the trainer. Verify your files and make sure the game runs fine without trainer then close the game.

I basically do the same things Taurus listed here and I run the trainer As Admin:

-Run trainer as Admin
-Press F2
-Select the root installation directory for the game and click OK
Trainer then launches the game
-Press F1 at Main Menu

I just fired it up and it still works great, same as it did during my 2 full plays.

So, weird issue. Hadn't seen it until recently.

When I'm fishing, and the trainer is turned on (and not even using the F8 'make fishing easier' button), I cast the line, and then it just hangs in the air. Can't reel it back in or anything. Can only switch to another weapon. I even started with the trainer (but didn't hit F1 at the menu), fished fine, hit F1 (then the unlimited ammo cheat), and the problem came back. Like I said, it's weird because I didn't have this issue until recently.

N/M on this. Turns out, having 'no reload' turn on affects casting with fishing rods. Turning it off stops this behavior.

If you need the trainer to launch FarCry5 without EAC, then run the
trainer FIRST, making sure that the game is NOT running.

Press F2 to open the Folder Browser so you can select the root directory
that the FarCry5 game is installed in. Usually one of these locations:

Steam
------
\Steam\steamapps\common\FarCry5

Uplay
------
\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\games\Far Cry 5

Once you selected the proper folder, click OK. The trainer will try to launch
the game for you.

Once the game is at the main menu, then press F1 to activate the trainer.

Is anybody else having issues with the trainer in the Trainer Manager? I updated it today, but the trainer manager is still notifying me that there is an update to the trainer.
