Just wanted to say thanks. It was not working in V1 but V2 works now! This is how i tried to make it that my trainer found the game:

I maked it sure that my avira was disabled after reboot and then installed the V2. Now I closed steam and uplay and started the trainer first and selected only the game dir with F2 and closed the trainer again. Now I've started the game without the trainer and closed the game after intro. Now I opened the trainer as admin (F5.exe aswell) and pressed F1 and it worked!

Same story here: tried all four options of the FAQ. Game starts fine without trainer. With trainer I receive the pop-up asking me to start the game with the extra parameter, but after confirming either the trainer hangs and nothing happers or the trainer reports that it can;t find the game.

Windowns 10, Steam FC5, no prior trainers, admin on trainer and all .exe in the FarCry 5 folder. Game is installed on D.

Yeah.. this doesn't work.

I shouldn't have to tell the trainer where to find the game when it's in the path already. And, even after telling it where to find the game, it still can't find the game?

Half the time it says it can't find the game before the window even pops up to try to launch it from Steam.

So... I'll wait for a better version from you guys before I try this again. The fact that the trainer installed some kind of UBIsoft launcher app that I didn't agree to the first time I tried to get this to run doesn't set well with me at all.

the trainer didn't install anything. we have no affiliation or setup files with steam or ubisoft. Steam uses UPlay to run, it just doesn't do the popup when you launch normally from steam.

We will have more options and another version to try later.

The UPLAY launcher is included with a legitimate Farcry 5 install. If you purchased it off Steam it will use both UPLAY and Steam. You cannot play Farcry 5 without UPLAY logging in from my experience.
