I've tried everything suggested in this thread and every time I activate the trainer I get this message. "Far Cry 5 is attempting to launch with the optional parameters shown below '-uplay_steam_mode'. If you did not request this launch or do not understand these options select cancel."

The options to select are "OK" and "CANCEL"

When I select "OK" the trainer says "trainer can not find game" then is closes, when I select "CANCEL" nothing happens, and the trainer just freezes.

I purchased the game through Steam, does anyone know why i'm having this problem and what I need to do to fix it?

Launch the game via Steam.

Close the game once you're at the main menu.

Go to your tray and make sure you see UPlay and Steam running.

Run the trainer.

Hit F2. Browse to your FarCry5 folder wherever you had Steam put it (I have a half-dozen Steam libraries split between the same number of SSDs, so YMMV) There will be no confirmation dialog. Just pick the base FarCry5 folder and click the OK button.

Hit F1. The game should launch. According to some here, Steam may ask you to confirm it. It doesn't for me, but I'm running both the trainer and Steam as admin.

During the splash cinematics, you should hear "Trainer Activated"

This is working for me. Make sure you're following the steps above if you're running a Steam install of the game. If it doesn't work, post the exact steps you followed and exactly what happened as a result. Might be helpful to tell us your setup as well, as that seems to have an effect on some people's experiences.

Not meaning to offend but using a trainer can ruin your save. It can make the game easy or if you don't pay attention it can corrupt your save file.

For example: In Final Fantasy 15, if you give yourself more than 99 of those coins you can get to buy crap and you save the game, the game is gonna have a problem. 99 is the item cap for any item in the game.

The same can be said of any system in a game that monitors inventory caps in this fashion. Always have a save to fall back on. Never use a trainer without a backup save. Don't expect a trainer fix to address something you broke in the game using the trainer.

There is an option for requesting additional features for trainers.

GrammatonClerik Also Remember that since Fall Patch of Windows 10 your windows defender goes on auto on when your main AV is dead (if you reboot) so make certain that you go into security center and just disable your Windows 10 AV....otherwise you will be stuck in AV loop.

Thanks for the info. So just switching off "real-time protection" isn't enough? If not, how can I fully disable it so nothing happens once I'm in-game?

Hello CH,

Been using trainers from here for a while and have never had an issue. This is the first time I had an issue. I have done everything stated, but I finally got it going. So I am going to list everything I did and hopefully help out any one on Win 10.

Trainer running in Admin, Trainer in bin folder with Farcry 5 exe, disconnected second monitor, disabled Virus Protection AND App/Browser Control, Installed Uplay onto same drive as Steam, Turned Steam and Uplay into Offline Modes, ran trainer, pressed F2 and selected Farcry5 folder in steam directory, pressed F1 and the trainer finally ran.

I have no Idea what made it work, but its working. Hope its helpful.

When I initially run the game via Steam, and then close it, Uplay isn't open. Is that a problem, should it open automatically, or can I just open it myself?

when the trainer freezes i force close it and it says

the following error happened: invalid memory access-->Error#3913

then it just me a page of data
