I have tried it in several different methods I click f1, Then click ok on steam, then it gives the hour glass then I get the trainer cannot find game and both the game stops loading and the trainer closes what am I doing wrong here???
Nothing AFAIK.
Happens the same to me, then it also throws me a 0x000042 error and a fc_m64.dll error, each time that happens I verify integrity and 1 file has changed and Steam re-downloads it again. If I try again, the same behavior occurs all over.
No A/V, no Defender, no Firewall or anything blocking, win 10 x64, Nvidia card, always running as admin, always click ok on Steam and all the process following instructions to the letter, all other CH trainers work as expected.
If you get Unknown file version (C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FarCry5\bin\fc_m64.dll)
it is probably because you either replaced it or used a trainer from another site and it replaced it for you, if you do not have the original backed up then you will need to re-install the game. That or it's corrupt. Or you have not run the game 1 time witout trainer first so it could connect to ubisoft and verify.
If you get trainer cannot find game, not all of your antivirus settings are off or the trainer is not open on your main display.
Well, I do get that unknown version message, and I did not try trainers from any other source, I only trust CH for obvious reasons and always follow instructions to the letter, didn't tamper with the game in any other way than using the CH trainer and it still happens to me.
Just to be clear, each time I run the Trainer, it does something and Steam's integrity check finds 1 file not valid and redownloads it. Happy to share screen or whatever info to prove my statements.
Gonna try to reinstall and see what happens and report back.

You have to run the game 1 time first with no trainer so it can connect to ubisoft and verify itself then exit the game and restart it with the trainer.
