Get a grip, kids.
Microtransactions have been around for decades (since coin-op games allowed you to buy extra lives even) so, they aren't going anywhere because they earn extra money for the developer.
If you hadn't noticed, games haven't really increased in price in the last decade despite skyrocketing development costs. That's because of DLC and microtransaction revenue streams keeping the price in check. Otherwise we'd be paying $100 for a basic game at this point.
Do you really hate something that's totally optional and doesn't affect you unless you buy it? You can't say this game (or any game for that matter) has been made extra grindy to make you buy microtransactions... that's simply something you can't prove. So why not just enjoy the game and get over it?
