Keep working at it. Oh btw can some one tell me is Ubisoft an EU based company. I ask this as new laws are coming into play soon. Starting ANY EU based firm that holds any personal data to ANY has to ask for permission first! So this means any info/data they scan hold will be illegal as they will then be braking the new Data protection laws. I have to keep track of this due to the work am in. So this has me interested. But that's a side note. Towards the trainer wise good luck ch team as always. You got my backing.

Ubisoft Entertainment SA (/ˈjuːbiˌsɒft/;[6] French: [ybisɔft]; formerly Ubi Soft Entertainment Software) is a French video game publisher, headquartered in Rennes. It is known for publishing games for several acclaimed video game franchises including Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Just Dance, Prince of Persia, Rayman, and Tom Clancy's. It is the fourth largest publicly-traded game company in the Americas and Europe after Activision Blizzard, Electronic Arts, and Take-Two Interactive in terms of revenue and market capitalization.[7]

When I was younger I readily used downloaded games with hacked solutions, run through things like Daemon Tools and such, but like PWizard here is saying, it IS a risk-sport.

If you have any experience with the hack-scene you know that you can more or less just assume they own your bandwidth after you start that .exe file and tell your software firewall it's ok.

Certainly not everyone does this, but many enough do it to assume that it's being done. Today they're not out to destroy your system; they want your CPU power for cryptomining, and of course your bandwidth for those DDoS runs, and so forth.

Today I pay for my games, and I pay for Cheat Happens, because then I know everything is legit.

In all this, I too also feel the distaste for the gaming-industry doing these things, because like many of you I am not playing multiplayer games - I simply don't have the time. I cheat because I want to experience the game, and not repeat a mission 15 times (because I suck), or not see all the good weapons until the game has five minutes left on it.

Just annoying that they are stopping us from doing playing the game how we want.

That said, I am not going back to hacked games. I know too much of that scene to willingly expose my system in that way. I'd rather just not play the game at all.

.. but as for FC5, we now hear good news in on the horizon, so looking for another win!

EAC is based out of Finland which is a member of the European Union.

Also, they consider using the software and clicking through the EULA and Privacy Policy acceptance of permission to hold customer data. You can request them destroy it, but they will make your game literally unplayable by blocking your connection to EAC, forcing a crash every launch.

last i read the new data protection laws require it be an opt-in, not an opt-out; so affirmative permission is required. so the whole "if you use it you agree" bs wont fly anymore after its enacted.
which makes sense since that is pretty much how the whole issue started to become a problem with companies in the first place.

Well, glad that you guys n gals are getting a trainer for fc5 out.
I just hope it will have stuff we can do, like unlock stuff if it isnt game based lock, like you arent far enough in the game. These seem to be lacking in a lot of the trainers though. If you go back to older games, you can unlock guns and ammo and stuff like that, but it seems new trainers dont do that. Is that because they are locked somehow? Like someone said here on the forums, it sucks having the best guns locked until the last 45 minutes of the game.
Anyway, thanks for info and for doin it right!
