Hi, I'm having the same issue as Mr. Blackjack as well. Unfortunately, after following the guidance in both the thread itself and the pre-post rules, it's still not working, not even when running in Win7 compatability mode. The game immediately crashes upon either activating the trainer or trying to click through to the next screen or starting the game.

I will try to help you.
To make work the trainer and the game i have done this :
* Don't launch the game with the steam menu / button.
* Before to launch the game chose compatibility mode to Windows 7 and admin mode for the trainer and for the EXE file.
* Start the game with the EXE of the game itself.
* Active the trainer at the main menu or in the game with F1.
* Normally no crash.
About the trainer, for me :
* The option 1 work.
* I don't have test the option 2.
* Option 3, 4, 5 and 6 don't seem to work for me.

If you go to E:\Program Files (x86)\Steam or where ever you steam is installed and right click on the steam.exe and go into properties, you can set the mode you want steam to run as under the compatibility tab.
Thank you to your advise but the options 3, 4, 5 and 6 still don't work.
