Hi all,
What ever you do, do not leave the trainer non activated in the background. EAC will still pick this up. So make sure you turn off EAC or it will get you banned from the game. Even if you do not activate it in game!

How can i turn off EAC without activation the trainer?
I have no idea what anyone else is writing here is true or not or whatever. I doubt the trainer is detected, otherwise they would outright close the game, however I have no idea.
I just tested our trainer and it's working 100% with bots. I do not use it online with humans, or anything that is keeping tabs of a time you took or is a leaderboard.
run KVA disabler
restart windows
disable windows defender (or your own antivirus)
run trainer
wait 20 seconds
run steam
run game, click PLAY
click popup window in trainer that says OK regarding waiting 20 seconds
press F1 to activate trainer
tested both options
we have nothing that is disabling EAC or preventing anything in our trainer. There is always risk of being banned, especially if you go online and play with others who can report you or you do that in such a way that they can examine your stats or stats about the play session from their server.
best,
Cal
Thank you for the solid information. I was worried that they may log performance or something and get me through that. So i can be relative safe if i keep playing with bots and stay invisible on steam so no people from my friendlist can join and alert EAC.
I got worried as i do not have information what exactly EAC does or what they might mine out of the game.

Never even activated the trainer at all other than it open in the background as per instructions for SP use. Did three quickplay challenges with no use of the trainer being activated at all and bang in the morning banned. So EAC is detecting the traienr without it being activated on my end. So from my stand point dont run the trainer and leave it in non activated mode and do any sort of Online action as EAC will dectect it.

So, if we activate it at the main menu, we should be good to go?
The 1603 HF Trainer doesn't work at all.
Works fine here.

I'm having an issue with the trainer manager not seeing that it was updated and I can't seem to get the cheats to work as well. Shows trainer as activated and I worked through the steps with and without KVA disabling (when I disable KVA I get the SMEP Bypass error on launch, so I can't run with it disabled but I've not been getting any ctd's as is)...

To run Vermintide offline with bots, do you have to run Steam in “offline” mode?
