Feedback, Complaints or Problems

I have read through what there is about this issue. I am not sure what is causing this if it is either the Windows 10 update or some sort of antivirus I cannot cut off. I started having this problem about 6 months ago with Mafia 2. Some trainers still work as they should, but there have been a few others that the trainer will disapear and when I try to run them I get an error saying the file I am trying to open does not exist. I have looked in all my antivirus and even went as far as uninstalling avast and before installing malware bytes I still could not open the trainers for some of these games.

The latest to not open is Mass Effect Andromeda which is a huge downer. When Andromeda first released the trainer worked as normal on my computer as did every other CH trainer during that time period.

So is there a work around for this? Has this been brought up and a solution found by others?

Uninstall completely any/all anti-virus/anti-malware from your computer, except maybe Windows Defender, but only if you-white list every instances of Cheat Happens files

I am not having any luck adding it to whitelist. I can not exclude the file because it disappears as soon as I unzip the file. I have tried excluding the zip file and a folder for where I unpack zip too and still no luck, file still disappears.

I am pretty new to this stuff, so here are the steps I did to do exclusions (if this is what you are talking about in regards to whitelisting)

Windows Button - Settings - Update & Security - Windows Defender - Exclusions

I take that back, I believe I got it working now (have not tested in game, but I would assume since it is now stable (not disappearing anymore) and running, it will work just fine.

So how I got it to quit removing itself:

Same steps above to get to Window Defender, but under "Controlled Folder Access" I clicked "Allow and App through Controlled Folder Access" and for some reason or the other the trainer exe was there been though it was not in the folder if you went to go look at it through normal navigation means. So they must have stored the file, but hid it maybe like your Appdata folder maybe?

I am not sure if the steps in my second posts are needed either in order to replicate how I brought it up finally.

Thanks for your help. Advice caused me to spend more than 10 minutes to really try and make it work instead of giving up.
