    hello,
I am a ViP member here now over 10years....

    I've seen allot....
but the NUMPAD5 Option is seriously not good.
When the Options works then it's just for "Coal" and nothing else.
Allot of People have the same issue, get rid of it....it's NOT working.

I watched the Videos atleast 100-200 times......I am sorry....it's NOT working!

If I look into the txt file....
    I see this:
    Quantity Of Dropped Item:
Open your inventory and drop an item which has a stack like coal or Groschen.
If you had dropped your last of it, pick it up. Now press hotkey or use editor.
Open your inventory to see it has changed.

So I am wondering HOW it Comes that Unlimited Groshen/Items works just fine on Button Press
but the NUMPAD5 Option just works on COAL ? Oo

If you don't find an option useful, then simply don't use it. Problem solved. Likely you are using it wrong or the game updated and the code changed.

This isn't really 0x90's fault. The game doesn't use a single memory address for item quantities and it's kind of a crapshoot trying to track down all the individual instances of the oddball items. Especially when they have limited time developing all these trainers.

I saw someone created a mod over on Nexus that adds in some cheat commands through the console with an add item command and a list of items you can add. That's probably a better solution for those oddball cases where the trainer doesn't work because it's not really fair to ask these guys to go through the 1000+ different item types to figure out all the instances where the items are stored differently.

If you want to do the legwork, find all the items it doesn't work on, create a save, and then post the list for them they might be able to fix it. But just saying "It doesn't work, fix it." isn't going to happen. Not in this case where there are so many possibilities.

I am having some issues with this trainer option. Perhaps the instruction "an item that has a stack" is meant to convey that you must have at least two before this works, but I meant it to mean any stackable item.

I am trying to use it to get multiple doe meat, since I have two different quests requiring I deliver a stack of it, and none of the 30+ deer I've found and killed have been doe. A poacher I killed had 1, though, so now I have one, and this is a stackable item.

So, I drop it, then I pick it up. I see the number in the editor under Dropped Item / Quantity change to 1. I press 5, and I see the number change to 96 (which seems what I would expect as I set the modifying value to 95). With no further input the number then changes to 640. I do not ever actually find that I have more than one in my inventory.

I tried next with a Preserver potion. I dropped 1, I see the accurate amount under Dropped Item / Quantity, I press 5, the number increases by 95 (in this case, I had 5, dropped 1, then had 99) exited and reentered inventory, and I have 99. So the trainer is working correctly for this potion.

To further test, I decided to see what would happen with some other game I have, and I have plenty of Hare meat. The first thing I notice is that in fact I have 640 regular Hare meat. The very number that kept popping up earlier. I drop one, the number in my inventory changes to 369.... while the number under Dropped Item Quantity now says... 36. I press 5, it changes to 131. Exit and enter and I now have 734. Which now is also what Dropped Item Quantity says. I didn't notice when it changed as I was looking at game. Drop one more. Editor now says 130. Press 5, says 225. Exit/renter, and notice number changes to 828 on reentering inventory screen.

Something strange is happening, but trainer is still working in the end. Next step, a different stack of Hare meat that is marked stolen, as is all game freshly hunted. Start with 458, drop 1. Editor says 36. Press 5. Editor says 131. Exit/reenter inventory. Editor now says 828. Stolen Hare meat stack now has 552. Again, trainer worked to increase, but something is off.

Next test, Offal. Not marked stolen. Have 17, drop 1. Editor says 9. Press 5, editor now says 104. Exit reenter inventory. I now have 111 Offal. Editor says 828.

Last try with Roe deer meat. Have 1, drop 1. Open inventory. Editor says 3. Press 5, number changes to 98 briefly, then 830. Exit/reenter. Still only have 1.

Decide to use the Unlimited Items option instead, set to 999, press 6, now have 999 Roe meat. Turn off 6, drop one roe meat. Press 5. Have 1093. Quantity in editor changed quickly to 18981. Have my meat, stopping here.

I hope this detailed report is helpful in improving this trainer option if you choose to do so. Perhaps the answer really is just that you must have two of something before using this option, in which case, I would suggest making that a bit more clear. Thank you so much for the work you put into this trainer and so many others that have increased my video game enjoyment.

I was also having some trouble figuring this out, but I found something that worked for me!

So, you need to have a few of the item you want to change, atleast 2 seems the lowest for this. With the editor open there will be a value after dropped item quantity, keep that in mind for the next step as you need to check if it changed.

    - Drop at least 1 item of the stack.
    - Keep the inventory open
    - Watch if the value in the editor changes after a second or so, and if so press Numpad5 (or your assigned key) to activate the "Change Quantity Of Dropped Item By" option. The value should change again, most times by the amount of the Modifying Value for previous option. (Some items might not use +1 for a single item)
    - Close the inventory, pick up your stuff and check the result by opening the inventory again. You should have increased the amount of that item.

If the value in step 3 did not change in the editor, retry with this slightly different method:
    - Drop at least 1 item of the stack.
    - Keep the inventory open
    - Click on/select a different item wait a second or so and then select the original item again.
    - Watch if the value in the editor changes this time, and if so press Numpad5 (or your assigned key) to activate the "Change Quantity Of Dropped Item By" option. The value should change again, most times by the amount of the Modifying Value for previous option. (Some items might not use +1 for a single item)
    - Close the inventory, pick up your stuff and check the result by opening the inventory again. You should have increased the amount of that item.

I hope this helps someone by putting this here!
