Happy New Year everyone!
2017 was an amazing year for Cheat Happens thanks to our incredible members and staff. Our web traffic increased by 50% over 2016, but considering that we stopped posting reviews and wallpapers back in January, it's more like 75%-100%. We signed up a record number of members this year including the addition of several thousand new Lifetime PLUS users. Earlier in 2017 when we realized things were heading in this direction, we immediately started paying our hard working staff more so that we could produce even more content. We released a record number of 3,017 trainers in 2017 including over
*400 TRAINERS IN DECEMBER ALONE*. That's an average of 13 trainers per day in December and 8 trainers per day for the whole year! I'm going to guess that this was more than every other trainer maker, group and site COMBINED. That's a 22% increase over 2016. We then applied additional funds to create and update our free CoSMOS Gamehacking Tool (
Link) as well as our free Trainer Manager (
Link) software. We added two new paid positions to the site to help with support and trainer video creation. Our support team engaged in 1,350 live chats and answered 9,823 support tickets. We could afford to advertise with strategic partners which helped bring new members to the site. We reached out to multiple free trainer sites/makers and offered them financial assistance but none of them wanted to "sell out" to the evil Cheat Happens. Now, we could have stopped there and just pocketed the extra money, being the greedy bast
ards that we are (according to all the other trainer sites out there) but instead we came up with ways to give it back to the same people that supported us to begin with. We added our CH Prize Wheel (
Link) and RC Store (
Link) where members could earn free site rewards in addition to real-world items such as free gift cards, CH t-shirts, paypal cash, games and more.
In 2017
we gave away $33,900.00 USD in free gifts and merchandise from our Prize Wheel and RC Store, redeemed by a total of 19,636 different users. We also gave out 670 MILLION free reward credits (RC) from our Prize Wheel alone.
But this wasn't enough so we pooled our additional resources and had our first ever "Day of Giving" (
Link) on December 23rd where we gave away another $11,000.00 USD in free memberships and merchandise. We also gave away over 3 MILLION free reward credits.
So, in 2017 we gave back $44,900.00 USD worth of in-site and real world merchandise to well over 20,000 members. A special thanks to those that donated RC and game keys to our giveaway, you guys are awesome and made the event even more special.
You guys made 2017 a year we will never forget and can't thank you enough for your support no matter how small. That's why we work around the clock 365 days a year, to make sure that everyone feels they are getting their money's worth.
So, where do we go from here? Trust me when I say we have no plans of slowing down. We've been working on a new piece of software that both CE and CoSMOS users will love and hope to release within the next month or so. We will continue to add more options to more trainers and generating as much content as humanly possible as long as we continue receiving the amazing support that you have shown us in 2017. We couldn't do any of this without our generous members and we are forever grateful for each and every one of you.
