So does the request need to be approved and ready to be funded before I can proceed with the gifting process? Or can I just go ahead with the gifting process after I request for it but it hasn't been approved yet?
Another issue I'm having is that I can no longer gift games through Steam to other people that's not in my friends list. So I can't gift using email address anymore since 2017, I believe. So we might need another process to doing this.

I would first wait until the game is on the request page before gifting it.
Regarding the issue, I am not sure how you could complete the gifting if you can not send it to an email address. If you are able to get a CD key for the Steam version of the game that should work as well if you just send an email to Chris with it. I will message him and ask what would be the best way to complete the gifting in case you can not send it over the usual way I mentioned in my previous post.

The option to give the game is in the process of asking for the trainer.
If it anything older the Aug at this time. You can request as many of them as you want.. I just want to give time for people to get requests in for Aug and Sept before letting anyone request as many as they want.
