How can I gift a game?
I'm hooked on the Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town game, and I've been using CoSMOS to play the Nintendo Switch Version using the Yuzu Emulator. Since this game is releasing sometime next week on PC through Steam. I thought about gifting this game to the Cheathappens team to make a trainer out of it.
My experience with using the CoSMOS on the Switch version is that the potential is huge, different item modifier, and stats that can be changed just by memory scan and editing. What I dislike about it is the stability. Since you know it's an emulator and all, and they're prone to have problems. But this instability wouldn't be expected in the PC version.
I'm sure a lot of fans of the original Harvest Moon: Back to Nature in PS1 and Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town in GBA would be excited for this game, but because of the different title that they use and how little their marketing department is spending, it's not a suprise that longtime fans are not aware that this remake is coming. Heck I even just found out about this a couple weeks ago, and I've been playing the BTN on PS1 emulator for ages. So I kind of understand the lack of support in the request page for this game.
I tried to post a request in the trainer request page, but to speed things up, I wanted to gift this game outright to the devs but I couldn't find any mention or segment about gifting this game to boost it. Has this been changed?

Hey Tommy.
You will indeed have to submit a request for it first here: Link
I talked about the gifting process with Jaks, and what you would need to do is to buy the game as gift and select the option to send it to an email address. If you want to gift it to us, make sure to enter Chris's email address which would be chris@cheathappens.com Once that is done, just send it and if the game is o nthe request list, it will be updated as soon as possible to show that it has been gifted.
Please note that the game would also need to be funded in order for the devs to start working on it. Thanks for your understanding Tommy.
