Yeah, my head is a mess of scars. Needed stitches 10 times, one of which was a bullet wound. Fun times. Most of the scars are just me being stupid when I was younger, climbing all the things, all the time, lol.
That's rough. A bullet to the head?
Yeah, chipped my skull by my right temple. Thankfully it's just a scar, now, and wasn't the end of me. =P Silver linings, and all that, lol.
You make me feel like having two broken legs is like a papercut.
Haha. Anything you survive could be worse! XD
I'm just glad I won something. Things haven't been great for me lately including breaking both legs. 😭
That sucks...but i'd rather my legs than my arms...at least you can still game #brightside
That's so true and another plus is it was a work related accident so now I have no work and lots of time to play. LOL
Amen to that bro. A few years back i was caught in a blast that caused severe burns and trauma to my upper body. No games for me for 3 weeks until i was able to use my hands so trust me I feel your pain. Hope for an easy recovery and a great 2018 for you
Ouch hope that didn't leave too many scars. If so, I hope chicks dig them! Have a wonderful new year to you too.
Luckily it left NO real scars...doctor asked if i was wolverine. I wasn't supposed to make it, then i was supposed to need a ton of surgery, then i needed nothing but would have severe scars, then i completely healed. Craziest thing ever...miracles can happen
Gosh no scars? Damn lucky, after my snowboarding accident I was given two scars on my head
Ouch! I'm sorry to hear that...My uncle lost a finger skiing and my dad has quite a few scars from falling and hitting a tree while snowboarding (he woke up, realized he was in a hospital, and said "i party hard i guess"
One of my best mates had a ski crash in Norway and is now a paraplegic with only partial use of his arms and not a lot of use of his hands. He was a mad keen adventurer. Mostly skiing, rock climbing and mountain biking everywhere. It was pretty devastating!
Goes to show you never know what tomorrow can bring. You have to appreciate what you have and what you can do today...so sorry about your mate...that is life altering...i hope he's able to adjust...
Took a few years but he's doing ok these days. Norway gives pretty good support for those in his situation which has really helped him get back on his.... wheels. He's just invented a new device for people in his situation and released it on the market and he still manages to do some limited skiing in this crazy sit ski, so these days he's pretty positive.
thx all, i like all this.
The waiting, watching, and hanging out is the best part! 😀
