Thanks everyone, hopefully if I work through the night and all day tomorrow I can get all of the gifts from the event sent out and prepare the second chance drawing and giveaway. Been at it all day and night and so far have about 8 of the prize threads done and gifts sent out. I don't want more people to feel cheated or disappointed with our giveaway.
Chris... don't be unfair to yourself. And NEVER EVER let ***s ruin your attitude and motivation.
Working in a department close to customers myself, I learned the two immortal lessons the hard way...
...if it's working as it should (or better), it's at 'regular' level.
...if it's not working as it should, it's unacceptable. No excuses.
Would you like to know what my personal 'lesson learned' from all that was?
A simple rule. Praise as often, as reasonable and as detailed as you critisize. And always - NO exceptions - in a constructive manner.
Since then, you had a lot of very postive comments and response for the give-away (and the way it was conducted) from various people.
Positive reactions. The highest award any person ever'll get, be it private or at work. You got more of them than negative ones. And you got them for a reason - that event was brilliantly done. Full stop.
Remember what I said before? Usually, it's just the other way round. So you must have done something really great to cause such a reaction.

I do hope you take some time off, I always knew you guys worked hard, but following the day of giving... I've been digging through the forums, and have to say I see now that you work harder than I could have imagined.
