I miss a pc game that really hooks me into the game. What I mean is a game that makes me want to play it and nothing else. I think the last game that I liked and hooked me for more then 80 hours was elder scrolls skyrim. What games do you people miss as a play this and nothing else game?

    Quake 3.
20 years playing it, at LEAST 5 times a week.
But all of the cheaters and ban evaders just got to be too much for me, and I stopped playing, except for maybe once a month, IF the game isnt all hackers. If it is then it goes to about a few minutes a month.

Hands down, easily my alltime favorite game... Witcher 3 and the Blood & Wine expansion. Played it 3 times before I even looked at another game.

For me, there's a few games that I put a lot of time into, and all three are 'older' games, but still special and awesome. Before the current success of Team Fortress 2, there was Team Fortress (or Team Fortress Classic) that I put a ridiculous amount of hours into and just couldn't stop. I similarly did the same for Left 4 Dead 2. Don't get me wrong, The Witcher 3 and Skyrim and whatnot are all great and I spent a good deal of time in them, but there's just so many great games coming out today with so little time, that it's hard to stay in one game for too long when I want to try out others.

But the one that I keep coming back to, starting in 1999 and going to the present day, is good ol' Sven Co-op. It's even better that it's now a free standalone game (versus a mod for Half-life back in the day). I've put well over 1000 hours in that game on a few of my favorite servers and just can't get enough. I wish I could find a newer, similar game, but there doesn't seem to be any that I know of.

I'm just here to game and help if I can. :-)

    WOW!
I just calculated how many hours I probably put into Quake 3.
    About 40 thousand hours.
    Just, WOW.
    That is insane.

I played elder scrolls online 150 hours in one month, I felt almost shocked, but it was fun 💛

Last game which managed to grasp me for so long was SWTOR. Heck, I even missed most of university classes because of it. I think I have clocked around 3000 hours, if not more, on it since launch. It's not much in 6 years but after a year or so the old gang went separate ways regarding games so I played it with Ratchet and Sapphire on on/off basis. The only other two games which come even close to SWTOR are STO with around 2500 hours but I haven't played for years, and WOT which I have been playing on/off since the very first CBT.

Games nowadays are just rubbish. Whenever we want to play something together we usually have to go back to 5+ years old games because they're still better than anything released today.
