Just bought the game, currently it will not load if you in offline mode or no internet, they said offline mode will be available in the future, but just dont know when, I guess will have to wait until it happen

Thanks for confirming this. We were skeptical of the information we received earlier. When or if they do actually make offline available, let us know.

Firstly, thanks for all the work you folks at CH do. Really appreciated.

Now to Ylands.

I purchased the game this morning. I then installed it.

I then created a rule within my firewall to disallow Ylands access to the internet and enabled this rule. I then started the game and it immediately returned an error.

I then switched off the Ylands firewall rule thus allowing Ylands access and started the game. It started fine and I was able to create a character and start a game within the "explore/survival" mode.

While in game with my character on an island, I alt-tabbed and enabled the firewall rule disallowing Ylands access to the internet.

I can still play the game. It works with zero internet access.

Conclusion:
Ylands checks back to their servers upon game startup.
While playing the game it does not require internet access and is therefore 100% local.

This is not multiplayer. In the game settings under multiplayer, it is not published nor is it joinable.

OK, since no one can seem to agree or provide details that they have successfully hacked the game with CoSMOS, I have added it back to the req list. If it gets funded then we will look at it.

Exactly. This is why we cannot do trainer for it. It requires online connection
