Thanks 0x90. Seems you need to have the .NET SDK installed to run dotnet commands from the command line.

Installed SDK, checked and latest version is installed - 2.2.101.
Ran trainer, same error.

//edit: Ok you are right, for this specific command SDK is required. However to run the trainer you need the RUNTIME. To verify use the command "dotnet --info" which prints out all installed runtimes.

I've just tried the trainer myself on a brand new Windows 7 64bit computer by just installing the 2.2 runtime.

I get this error whenever I try to open the trainer. It never happened before, all the other trainers work just fine. I've tried to download different versions and the error occurs when I try to open trainers from version 1.01 to 1.05. The 0.7b is working (it opens), but I can't use this one because I have version 1.01 of the game.

As mentioned earlier, the latest runtime had been installed yet the error reported being unable to locate 2.0.0.0. I only installed the SDK after you directed me to run the dotnet --version command.
Running win 10 Home 15063.1418. No, I don't follow MS update schedule, I let others take that risk.
