hi all

please o please add the games versons to the trainer that only say "patch 1" or some other crazy [BLEEPED] name etc.

its a nightmare to find the correct one, i dont always update my games as most time there is no need to.

If the game offers a version number we add them to the trainers.
However before throwing the ball towards us you need to know a few things about this:

- Some games don't have version number at all, nowhere.
- Some games have a version number posted as thread in steam forum. Sometimes its posted days after we had to provide an updated trainer so the actual version number was unknown at the day we updated the trainer.
- Some games have changelog in steam news. Again sometimes developers (especially indie) do not keep these changelog up to date
- Some games have a version number but this version number doesn't get changed on a small patch that fixes what the previous patch has broken. How should we reflect this on our trainers?

As long as game developers don't have a standard we can follow we have work with the current.

is there some specific title you are talking about? If we don't put the version in our trainer then likely we couldn't find an actual version number posted in steam, in the game, or any where. We aren't going to search for 30 minutes to find what version the game is. This is better suited to send to the developers who don't post their versions clearly in the game main menu
