Just wondering but is the an option to just (not sure correct word, donate comes to mind but not quite right, give maybe, will use give for now) give a one off payment? Am asking as I do not want anything extra from CH beyond what I already get, I dont use the points etc.

I just would like to, from time to time, be able to give CH more money for the service they provide. Is the a link to such facility if it exists?

No, it's not permanent. Upgrade and/or downgrade at any time and it will have no effect on your Lifetime membership.
