this is why i have an "unofficial" version of the game, im still on 1.05...i just live with what i got til a better (stable) version comes out with a proper patch...u ppl that are all S.O.S. (stuck on steam) i feel sorry for yous. so CAL, i would wait like a week or sumthin before even thinking bout updating the trainer for this game as they seem to patch at the drop of a hat....ANY HAT...
This game hasn't changed in that way since inception. They left early access in theory but there is nothing new about them patching endlessly. It's stupid. Why not collect all the problems for 2 weeks, THEN release a single update? Probably because CORE parts of the game are still busted, even after a year or more, and they are using the CUSTOMER who bought the game as ginea pigs to report problems. People pay to be crapped on like this, as if you are something special that you got early access. NO! You PAID to work for a company to report bugs for them so they dont have to do it. Thats what is going on here and it's pathetic.
Obviously I am more jaded about it since I have actual work that I care about functioning that depends on the games, and these games are hopelessly broken and updating all the time, so it makes my life a lot more difficult.
anyways, I am not checking or updating this game every 8 hours any more. We have a lot more to contend here with Cheathappens than broken games that never should have left early access and developers that should have more pride in releasing their code to the public.
Apologies for being a bit bitter this week. This is but one of many games and a larger and growing trend in the game coding community that is frankly becoming epidemic. Even with game software making engines that make all this stuff even simpler, there is more and more junk being thrust into circulation. I get to see it from a different perspective than most, I guess.

I agree that it is a pain when games are broken, and thus updated endlessly. Some years ago I put forward a suggestion, which I will state again.
When this happens, I would rather see that trainers are put on hold, and that when the game have not updated for a time, then you can consider updating the trainer.
I for one am sad, when I own a game that have not been updated for over a year, but where the trainer is retired here on cheathappens.
I do not complain, but I would like to see the other strategy.
It is also easier to say that a game is on pause until such time as it is stable (i.e. not updating daily), than retiring it all together. Both approaches achieves that you do not need to update all the time, and quite frankly wasting you time on something like this.
Please take this as constructive input, that is at least the intention.
I've been having a few issues, with this game. Most of the trainer options work wonders for me, but I can't seem to get the fast options for building and researching to work, while having the game unpaused. It'll say that it fails. That's not really a big deal though, for me at least. The other trainer options are pretty much amazing.
I've been experiencing the game crashing to desktop however, mostly after I win a mission. I don't know if this is connected to the trainer or not, actually. It could just be the game. Did I miss something in the readme though, about turning off all trainer options for end of missions? I read it but didn't catch anything like that.
EDIT: I'm not reporting the trainer, I don't want to upset any devs for this minor stuff when the game is still largely playable, and it's probably the games fault, I just thought I'd ask.

Like I said, I genuinely wasn't trying to give you a hard time, or get your attention at all. I did all of those things though, and I actually never turn on speed increase for the days, I was never tempted to try.
So i have gotten all options to work with the latest version except for Game Speed. I had this option working without issue in an older version.
I have tried pausing and unpausing multiple times, but i keep getting the error "Script error in line 6: Cannot find aob for 'Game_Speed"
The game is updating a lot. so it probably somehow broke the option again. the game is a mess.
