Just seen that.... well, then I hope the old version is working for a while, till the game receives less patches and our mighty coder has time to maybe bring back a few options, but I can understand the cut, even when I am a bit disapointed´ 😭 😉

I used the numpad 1 while it was running.

No idea then. The trainer runs fine for me and the option got activated after approx. 15secs.

Holy... it's hard enough with the walls being the only saving grace with infinite hp, now just resources?

Also, I have just found out that the 4.4 trainer still works at least for food, workers, energy range and energy requirements, as well as mega resources. Pop those, close that trainer, open up 4.5 and you have super stuff with no resource requirements or tesla range issues. Until the game gets patched again and renders 4.4 trainer useless, I'm going to use this method.

If the game does kill off those trainers... guess I'm shelving it considering resources isn't really enough for the steep learning curve.

Cannot activate the resource cheat...I launched trainer as admin, activated and heard "trainer activated", pressed num 1 when the game is running but all I hear is "please wait" and "failed". I have tried to launch the game in admin mode but it will not run anyway. In 0.4.5 trainer the "capture building" works fine but still cannot capture resources and units.
*solved: works fine after installing latest NET framework, 0.4.5 trainer works fine for 0.4.8 except for unit cheats

Make sure you're using the latest trainer and that the game is updated to latest version, also make sure that nothing is blocking the trainer like AV software and such.
I tested the trainer this instance and it works as intended.

Edit: And the game updated again.

Just as a new trainer came out, the game is updated. There was already a thread post by the developers in the Steam discussions, on how they are editing files and making it harder for people to modify / mod the files.

I reckon the developer is just constantly making small tweeks every now and then to make life for people like Cheathappens difficult. Either that or very awkward timing, new trainer and suddenly a new patch to 0.4.8

People would enjoy the game, if they could.. but since it's too hard, broken, unbalanced, and apparently never ending patching, we won't be doing anything special for this title...

no awkward timing, just awkward programming and awkward endless patch releasing by awkward developers using an awkward SDK kit to make this game..
