Did you also cleared your browser cache, the Windows Temp folder and then rebooted your PC?

Also, please check your memory with something like memtest86 -> Link

I keep getting this error as well since starting about a little over a week ago, though typically it flags as Error #1521. All my trainers run just fine, so I dunno. But when I try and launch TM, it gets to the splash screen and crashes. I've done all the normal cleanup stuff, like cleaning caches and cookies, and I always run it in admin mode with my antivirus disabled. I've even tried moving it to different locations and such, but no luck.

Like I said, my trainers still work just fine when launched by themselves, so it's just more of an irritation than anything.

Did you also try and deleted the content of the Cheathappens folder here -> C:\Users\YourWindowsUserName\Cheathappens\ , ran the TM -> Settings -> 'RESET TRAINER MANAGER'?

Can you tell what happened a little over a week ago on your system? Windows update to Fall Creators version maybe?

I've tried deleting that folder before, but i went ahead and did it again. Sadly, still no luck.

A little over a week ago was when I just suddenly started getting the error. I hadn't downloaded that Windows update yet, so I don't think that may be it. I haven't had any system or driver updates before this issue, that I can remember.

When I say the error just started happening, I mean that I played one game (Grim Dawn, I think), exited that game and closed TM, and about ten minutes later tried launching a trainer for a different game (Dragon Age: Inquisition). When I launched TM, it loaded to the splash screen where it would normally log me in, popped up the "Invalid Memory Access --> ERROR #1521" and crashed to desktop. And now any time I try to launch TM, I get the error.

I tried the usual fixes, like cleaning cache and temp files, disable antivirus, run as admin, even downloading it again and replacing all the associated files. I'm sure the error is on my end, I just can't figure out what it is.

It's possible that one of the folders the TM uses for settings or CRC got cut off or wasn't closed correctly.

    Steps to try:

1 copy all the trainers from the my trainers folder somewhere else (usually located here C:\My Trainers) ONLY copy the trainers, NOT the stuff in the folders (like ALtNames, CRC, Favorite)
2 delete My Trainers folder (or wherever you are holding your trainers)
    3 delete the folder here:

    C:\Users\\Cheathappens\Trainer Manager

    4) run Trainer Manager again.

There is no trainers to discover so it should run fine.

    5) look for folder C:\My Trainers
    6) copy your trainers back in there.

PM me and let me know if this helped.

    best,
