Well glad I posted about the Gold option. Thought it might be just me. Also happens in the 1.41 trainer update that was just posted.

I'd recommend using CH's Cosmos program for the gold option until it is resolved.

Trainer 100% works for gold like it always did in 1.41 trainer I just posted. I will post a video of it working later

Same here.I can't make the trainer works properly.
Add gold seems not work. 🙁

Other than this

Numpad 6: Set Gold - enter the inventory, then note your
gold amount, then press this to set it to the value
shown in the trainer. You may have to leave then
come back to see it has changed.

and watching the video 2 posts up from Cal, I would suggest starting a new game and try it on that one.

Trainer crashes the Game V.1.41 everytime. Can activate the trainer then Alt/Tab and can activate every option i want. Here no problem. Then i use Alt/Tab again to go into the game...crash. I have tried single options but every time the game crashes

Does the game crash when you use any option when you're in the game or only when you ALT+TAB to Desktop?
