Glad to support cheathappens in any way.
A complaint to malwarebytes on their behalf is done.

I started to get worried already when malwarebytes started blocking this website for me, good thing i saw this. i disabled and removed malwarebytes instantly and stopped the premium membership with them... hell no they are blocking my fav website.

I've canceled my sub with them.

I know, I'm probably too small a fish to make a dent, but I'm not going to pay for such a heavy handed approach.

Hey it's still a great response. As the saying goes "put your money where your mouth is". That is exactly how to do just that.

I agree, even tho we are just "little" even then less money for them.

I don't think the correct approach is to just unsubscribe, if you are a subscriber. Logon to their forums and announce that you will if they do not settle this issue.

obviously they didn't just wake up one morning and decided to rip cheathappens. The staff there mentioned something about pup.CoSMOS, and I see there is a dispute on how this could be, but until it is settled the only fact is that we don't know.

I realize there are a ton of sites out there, and MWB react to what they find, but they are being unprofessional by not providing pwizard with the necessary information as to what/where they found what they claim, and allow him to fix it if there is anything to even fix.

My intention is to remain on the fence for now, as mwb is in a class of itself in removing malware, and have helped me on more occasions that I feel comfortable admitting, but if they do not make proper efforts in handling this issue I will seriously reconsider my support of them.

Just my two cents .. stop all this "f*ck MWB - this means war" silliness. It is not helping anyone. Tell them to provide the proper information and show they are willing to resolve the issue.

I never really used MWB until recently so never actually needed them but people said it was a good service and now this haha, not really a good first impression.. i already posted on their forums as well if they manage to resolve this issue, i will think about re-subscribing but for now, no
