its not just you,
the super health option gives you a lot of lifepoint BUT, poision radiation and so on seemes to make % dmg so its no important how much life you got you will always die after the same time. you have to block this dmg with skills or injections or just be quick enough to not die.
i think this is made because they want to keep it a real thing. poisen does not kill a number of lifepoints it kills a % of it. so they could made areas that you cant go in too long not important if youre level 1 or 30 ( execpt the skills you got after getiing higher levels to block it )
the trainer wont work here i think.
I actually got a lot of resistance for both to cold and radiation. But it just takes like a second to die. I don't get it. 🤔

Because it is based on the amount of health you have, the more you have the more damage you will receive periodically.
Setting your health to 1000 with stims and a mask you will see the difference.
Are they actively looking to fix issues in Elex or just a release and move on type deal with it, some issues with the ai and such in reviews i really want a good RPG game with immersive content and have been looking at Elex for a bit but i trust peoples views on this site more than randoms on steam who tend to either hate or love something and bully others to believe what they do so that is why i am asking here and in the trainer release section usually people who play the game come in here to look at solutions and or to praise the trainer.
There was a day one patch that solved many issues that reviews has not taken into account. I'm sure they will be more patches, as is usual for any game these days. There are still bugs, espescially during conversations (npc walking infront of camera etc.), but they are not that frequent.
As for the game itself, being a Gothic veteran I really like it. There are really intricate quests that are tied into other questlines and so on. A great world to explore, with many cool loactions that aren't marked on any map etc. I have only played about 20+/- hours, so can't say much about the story. Voice acting is passable. A lot reviewers hated the voice acting, but I think it's ok. Just don't expect AAA graphics and animations, like the Witcher 3. That said, I think both are way superior to vanilla Skyrim. Also, depending on your experience with other Piranha Bytes games, it takes a while to get into the game. Level 1 means pretty much everyone or eveything you meet will one-shot you. Patience is required, unless of course, you get the trainer (thank you CH!!!) The trainer certainly alleviates a lot of these things.
So if you're just looking for a decent open world rpg, I'd definitely recommend Elex. But all these PB-games are an aquired taste, and they are different from more modern open world games.

hi there,
i got a question. i got the problem that i tried to change my elexit credits and the option IS working. but if i try to change the value for example only 1000 or so elexit the trainer gives me the full value all the time. if i change the set strenght value it works without problems.
i turn on the option ( value is changed to 3000 when i started the trainer ) then enter the inventory then turn of the option....and always get about 1000000 elexit.
its not a big deal but i just wanted to buy one skill a bit earlyer so i would really like to get this working. anyone who can tell me what i do wrong? or do you got the same "dont want to call that a problem "
to answer you thats what i wrote before i got the private message with the request to add my savegame and post again.
sure youre right i got alot of elexit from the trainer and thats good no question about that. what i wanted to try at my current FIRST savegame is to play the game through without much cheating or only when iam completly stuck.
i needed 3300 elexit so i could get the weapon to build up my fighting strenght ( got heavy problems with the combat system and my old weapon did not help...) and cause there had been no other need for that much elexit for me to go on i opened this post to see if theres a way to get only the amount i need.
the other thing is just as simple, there is an option that does not work like its discriped and we noticed and reportet it.
its like i wrote first " i dont want to call that a problem" and i did not report it as a "not working" option.
so i hope i could communicate my thoughts for why i asked for the help.
the trainer is great no question and i wont die from getting 1000000 elexit^^

You sir, are correct I guess I was more used to "god mode" kind of infinite health option. Either way, Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for the reply sounds good i will be getting it soon as i originally hoped to do, i was just a bit concerned with the reviews on the game but i counted on a patch being either in the works or released shortly after it got released, i have stopped pre ordering and just buying with out hesitation since the Mass Effect Andromeda Cluster**** , so wanted to wait and see how it was received same goes for Assassins creed and with wolfenstein going to wait with them until people review them.
