I wanted to elaborate on an issue some users have exclaimed regarding a character named Ornir and training not registering with the dialogue.

Dialogue related skill based questions do not use specific skills to determine whether you can answer a question or use a dialogue option. Instead, they use a broader heading which is separate from the specific learnable skills.

This separate skill raises every single time you use a point in a respective field. So putting a point in hacking and lockpicking both raise crafting, however, if you use the trainer, it does not raise the crafting category. This can be observed in-game when you look at the heading for your character skills in brackets "Crafting(0)" if you raised all your crafting related skills through the trainer.

I got around this by dumping learn points on my char from the trainer and using trainers to raise that crafting heading or survival heading along with their respective skills.

If I find the time tomorrow I will dig in deeper and get the specific addresses to change the skill tree levels without needing to go to trainers in-game to raise them.

I honestly haven't seen them not go "beyond the call of duty" with any trainer in ten years. It's easy enough to say that someone doing this does it for money but the reality of that silly idea ignores the fact that Cheat Happens also pays for their own hosting, security, games and is attacked hundreds of times a day every single day and they still find the time to create trainers and play games to test them.

Even games they probably don't like. They don't just create simple memory hacks. They don't just find out how a code works, but why the code works. That kind of intuitive reverse engineering requires a level of experience and a personality that borders on obsessive.

Cheat happens is full-time job with unpaid overtime very few will ever understand.

In short, Cheat Happens is a passion.

I agree with you. I've been a lifetime member for over a decade, and I'm constantly impressed by their work, both for the amount of games they cover, and the myriad options found on most of the trainers. That's why I went with the Lifetime Plus option; I don't really use a lot of the RC points, but they deserve the little bit extra I can throw them.

Thanks guys. We all worked extremely hard, pushing out 269 trainers so far this month which may be a new record. Like many have mentioned, we could do simple +4 trainers for all of these games like our paid competitors, but we do our best to get every possible option out of each game, big or small, sometimes re-writing entire trainers like on this game to make the best possible trainer/editor out there. We have also fulfilled MANY individual option requests from our new trainer option request system which took MANY hours to complete, especially on games where saves are not shareable so we have to play the game for sometimes 20-30 hours just to get to where the option request is.

But we couldn't do it without you guys, especially our Lifetime PLUS members that help us to pay everyone more for their extra work, buy more games and invest in more features and perks for the site.
