Feedback, Complaints or Problems

I have problems with cheathappens trainer specific icons. After a few window restart the icons just won't display properly and only shows blank icons. This doesn't happen with any other icons even trainers from other creators.

Things I did to check:
- Set run as admin in properties.
- set exclusion on anti malware app
- turning off anti malware app
- making sure i have no antivirus installed
- tried to change icon manually only to find out that the target trainer.exe also loses its icon.
- tried offline key authenticator
- rebuilt windows icon cache only to have it fixed for approximately 2 window restarts
- tried turning laptop off and on
- tried turning off and on the whole house
- tried physically banging my laptop
- tried blowing laptop cooler fans
- offered virgin sacrifice to any available demon at that moment

still no luck.

I know this isn't a matter of life and death of a gamer to most of you, but this problem is eating my soul teenie bit at a time every time I see them. By now probably I won't have enough to trade with another (preferably more reliable) demon to deal with.

I have the same problem, any help would be appreciated!

Then please try what fellow member djbb tried or read here about other suggestions -> Link if it's not the trainer icon but the trainer itself.

Thanks very much for the link and support but it does not work. My trainer works normally i think the only problem i have with all the trainers from chat happens is after a while they loose the icon, only a white/blank icon is shown.

This is not happening with one trainer, this happens with all trainers from chat happens for me over the time I observed this behavior.

Ok,

So I managed to get a workaround over this bug.
I extracted the .ico files from cheathappens trainer.exe and save it to a folder, and for any new game trainer installed from cheathappens I have to change the shortcut icon to the extracted .ico files.
Et voila! No more missing icon after windows restart.
