well I tried it out with desolation as well, and the options weren't working there either, might be worth looking into? But I think the problem is the Base game uses Talion yet the DLC uses Baranor and Eltariel respectively.
Delete trainer and all files in
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90
Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and
make sure trainer in is folder excluded from virus scans.
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens
may need to be added to exclusions as well. Run trainer as admin and try again.

Doing the above did not help, also: if a save game is needed how do I go about giving mine? since I am sitting right at the Talion fight in Blade of Galadriel.
