This trainer, as well as others when launched minimize to the system tray. All malware/anti virus is disabled. I'm on windows home 64 bit all patched up. On the same computer other trainers from this site don't minimize but allow me to alter fields. I have seen others post this as well. Any suggestions? Cheats work, well all those that don't require from me to alt tab into the trainer.
Side note, online fortresses are captured as long as infinite health is disabled before you start the mission.
The only suggestion I can make here: Install Windows from scratch.
As this is something we cannot reproduce and some members reported issues while using Nvidia drivers, others only updated their Windows 10 to the last version 1709 (Fall Creators Update), this is what actually worked everytime. New installation.
So I overcame this "bug" by pulling up the task manager. Expanding the the cheat happens process and selecting the child process. I then right-click the child task and select "maximize." I can now fully utilize all trainers.

I'm having issues with the XP option.
I do exactly as the trainer instructs and it works maybe one time in ten... I can't find any commonality in when it works.
Anyone got any tips on how to best use it, other than that in the readme (which I have followed religiously).

For those having issues with the XP option (it works every time if I do the following);
1) Check how much XP you need to level up (for my next level it is 102855)
2) Set the number next to the XP option in the trainer to 102800 (or the just below the threshold to obtain another level), press "enter" to hear a sound confirming the new value
3) Find a captain to attack, level does not matter, your going to kill him so not one you want to recruit!
4) Start the fight against your chosen captain
5) When the chosen captain gets to around half health activate the option (num pad 5, by default)
6) Kill the captain
7) Once the gear pickup popup appears (assuming you have unlocked the auto pickup, it is a few seconds) disable the cheat (num pad 5 again)
8) Check the character page, you should be within a few hundred xp of the next level if you did not level up with the last kill. If on a new level repeat process from 1) to setup a gain of the next level.
Have successfully gone from 46 to 51 using this method in the last hour.

Trainer shows activated with no sound for activation and when i use a hotkey there is no sound of cheat activation, a circle rolls over the trainer and after few seconds it crashes.
Win10 creators update x64 all updates
GPU & Sound latest drivers
The game installation is on separated SSD not alongside windows
ShadowOfWar exe 1.0.7210.0
Tried trainers version 1.07-1.08-1.09 with/without admin rights
Am i doing something wrong ?

Do you have the proper scan exclusions in your security software?
Trainer exe file (or the folder you store our trainers in) and the Work folder located here -> C:\Users\YourWindowsUserName\Cheathappens\
