Did the search trainers ability get moved/removed from the front page?

Not exactly sure what you mean but the 'TRAINERS' topic and the search box are still there.
Good for health, bad for education.

Link I used to see a "Search trainers" field around the "my cheat happens" area.

The Trainer Manager and our website use slightly different layouts.

Clear your browser cache. Do you still see the same?

Yep, once when I first noticed it, and again just now, I still don't see it. even closed out IE then opened it back up

Try clearing your cookies as well.
