I am using trainer manager with 3 trainers--Fallout 4, King's Bounty,and This War of Mine. Somehow the executable for the trainer for This War is Mine is pointing to the trainer manager itself.

Every time I try to start the This War is Mine trainer, I receive a message "one instance is already running" (even though no other instance of the trainer is running). When I try to start the This War of Mine trainer outside the trainer manager, it opens the trainer manager!

I can't undelete trainer manager via the control board (under the theory that in wiping all files I could "reset" it upon reinstallation). So...how do I fix this?

downloaded latest trainer for war of mine via the manager and from the site and the manager opens and runs the trainer fine both times. Have you renamed either of the exe's?
for me the manager is called Trainer Manager 64.exe and trainer is 20662-CyPHeR369-This War of Mine Trainer.exe

Also in the settings what do you have checked

list trainers using game name when available - else use file or custom name
or
always list trainers using physical exe file name

I didn't change anything.

Things that are checked:

Check for trainer update
While running check for trainer updates
Minimize trainer manager...
List trainers using game name...
a-z listing...
automatically unzip...

I wound up using regedit to delete every mention of cheathappens, then redownloaded the manager and the trainer--and it worked. Once. Then when I started the manager again, again I couldn't access the trainer.

try deleting all in C:\users\username\AppData\Local\Temp and try again
