In several quests now where you have to look for a item with your witcher senses, when i go to examine the item Geralt doesn't say anything and the item disappears, not in my inventory or anywhere after i click examine. Have this issue whether i'm playing with the trainer or not.

    tried uninstall/reinstall
    played with my graphics ect
can't find any related issues to help.

Are you guys talking about inventory items that are equipped or quest items? If you mean items that are equipped that disappear off the inventory screen, sometimes that's caused by leaving on the F-11 option for Gwent. Turn off F-11 when finished playing Gwent. Refresh the inventory screen and those should all return.

If it's other items, then it's one of the game's glitches. You might try loading a previous save game. It's a great game but it sure can be buggy at times.

I can't complete the quest at the Barons. The floor board when examined does not produce the talisman it just does nothing and 2 new saves later still no luck... Game ends at the Baron for me. Cannot progress past that.

Did you already try loading a previous save? That sometimes worked for me.

Also try loading a previous save and don't use the trainer at that spot where you're stuck. See if that gets you past it.

Had same issue but found the solution... DO NOT use the add level feature of the trainer... If you go over level 100 the issue happens and the only way to correct it is to start an entirely new game from scratch. This also affects NG+ game saves that are carried over into the new game... Instaed, JUST use the add XP... It will then cap at lvl 100 and the game works fine.Too bad really, because lvl 250 is a one hit kill for even the most difficult of monsters..

I may have found a solution for this problem. I used the trainer and adjusted the amount of level added to negate Geralt back under level 100, I was then able to pick up the quest item. Then I downloaded the mod that allowed levels over 100, and boosted my level back up from there. So far so good. I am able to pick up quest items again.

Thank you for this. I would never have found the solution if you didn't outline what the problem was.

Thank you too, CyPHeR369. Didn't realize there was a mod for that.
