Works where I tested it. I guess maybe there are more types of doors that it doesn't work for. Keep in mind that opening doors ahead of time could also break scripts..

"Numpad 7: Easy Open Rune Doors - to use this make sure you toggle on
BEFORE you load into the game, preferably at the main menu.
This removes one of the most annoying parts of the game,
namely having to run around and search for matching scenery
in the game to these runes on the doors. If this is on,
then simply walk up to the door, focus on it to reveal
the runes, then USE the door to enter it. No more wasting
100 hours running around solving annoying puzzles. This
mainly works on the doors with two pictures, such as the
doors in the FIRE area, mainly RUNE doors. May not work on
all doors, such as those that require illusion alignment."

will using this trainer disable achievements in microsoft store version?

I am also experiencing this. Latest Steam version here. Easy Open Rune Door doesn't work.

Officially, I've requested a new trainer for the completely new overhaul of this game. Here's what's happening in my case:
I've set the game path for the newest (May 2020) CH trainer for the game, pointing to the newest complete game update from 11-16-21, correctly:
D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Hellblade\HellbladeGame.exe
...and I AM able to launch the game with this trainer. But: I immediately get an audio prompt: "trainer cannot find game" when activating the trainer.

Thanks for the tip, Cypher. I hadn't realized that the latest Steam trainer was an earlier trainer. I d-loaded the link's trainer (thank you). Ran the trainer, ran the game, activated the trainer. It seemed to work with the newly-overhauled Steam game, but then I had a CTD. I then ran the game again without the trainer and game ran fine. Ran the trainer and the game again and within several minutes I had another CTD with the game. So I think the latest Steam trainer may not work with the latest Steam updated version of the game, after all.
