left click a mech to select it.
then RIGHT click a mech to open up all the components.
then mouse over the part you want to affect.
then toggle on the option, then carefully mouse over what you want to affect.
toggle the option back off.

works here, just like before.

Hi Cal. Didn't expect you to personally answer my comment.

Anyway, I followed the instructions exactly, but after I toggle off the OPTION, the mech (irregardless friendly mechs or hostile mechs), the mech selected will have all parts affected by the option. I cannot individually affect the parts.

I have started new career campaigns, and skirmishes just to test. I am not getting the same effects that you are getting. The OPTION still affect all the parts of the Mech. Even those I did not mouse over.

Like I said, not a big issue, just fix it (or not), whenever.

I have an odd one with the new trainer. Yesterday I tried activating it after starting BT, did its usual Please Wait... then said Trainer Activated but when I tried to either continue or load a save file, it would get to the spinning part in the top left and I could hear the ship noises in the background but would never load into the GUI. If I restarted it and hit continue or load a save, it went right in with no issues. Restarted the computer today just to be sure, loaded BT, and tried activating the trainer, this time it gave me this error:
16:53:24: Trainer is up to date.
16:56:01: Successfully attached to Battletech
16:56:02: Symbolhandler: Enumerating symbols...
16:56:04: Symbolhandler: Finished! Time enumerating symbols: 1236ms
16:56:04: Capture Money, Script error in line 3: BattleTech.SimGameState:get_Funds+50 is 0 or not a valid address
16:56:19: Successfully attached to Battletech
16:56:19: Symbolhandler: Enumerating symbols...
16:56:20: Symbolhandler: Finished! Time enumerating symbols: 1023ms
16:56:20: Capture Money, Script error in line 3: BattleTech.SimGameState:get_Funds+50 is 0 or not a valid address

I get its apparently having trouble loading due to finding a value it doesnt like, but im not sure to fix that?
Note: had to remove the punctuation around the BattleTech.SimGameState:get_Funds+50 due to the site finding it threatening.

Never mind...I re-downloaded the trainer and now everything works.

So curiously, I have found that at least one of the trainer options is causing the ai units, ally and enemy, to get stuck for a while. It took about 5 minutes for one unit of an allied convoy to make its move, and then the same thing happened for the rest. Initially, I thought it might be a bug with the game, but when I turned off all the options before the ai's turn the ai moved without delay. After a little experimenting, it looks like the super move option may be the cause; though, it is possible it was the heat generation option. I will probably test this more later to make sure and will post my findings. I was curious if anyone else has seen this issue or if it is just me. I am not sure whether the trainer would need to be updated to fix this or the game itself, but thought I would mention it regardless. If anyone wants to test, it seems convoy protection missions are where it is most noticeable. I have all DLC and am running the latest version as far as I am aware.

Edit: slight correction, I do not have the shadow hawk dlc; though, may get it in the future. Not sure if it is worth it.

Edit\Update: I have confirmed it appears to be the super move option that causes the issue. Again, I don't know if it is fixable or not, or if anyone else has even had this issue, but I wanted to post here to see before putting in any type of update notice.

Hi,

Has anyone got the super move option working at all these days? The past two updates of game and trainer have broken the option for me and I just get a failed message every time. I've followed the usual rules with AV and re-installing and such but it hasn't helped.

When i try to start the trainer its loading screen says that Cheathappens is offline?? and that i need to dl a offline key? Where can i do that or is the site down only temprerely? I find this weierd as im here posting, but seems the trainer cant connet.

Having trouble getting our trainer to work? These steps resolve 99% of all trainer issues.
Temporarily disable/uninstall all antivirus,
firewall and other security software.
Right click and choose "Run as Administrator"
on trainer and game.
Make sure trainer version matches game
version and distribution.
